He picked us up in Durban and on our way to Hluhluwe we stoped at the Cheetah Rehabilitation Centre to see cheetahs and other cats very close. We did a Game Drive in Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve in the evening and we did more on the next day.

Description

This 3 day safari tour to the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve has so much going for it. You’ll have an opportunity to visit a cheetah rehabilitation centre, enjoy a 2 hour cruise on the St Lucia estuary spotting crocodile and hippo, and explore a Big 5 game reserve.

To make your trip as easy for you as possible, we take care of all entry and conservation fees and accommodation bookings and dinner and breakfast.

Itinerary of our 3 day / 2 night Safari Tour

Day 1

• We start off nice and early at 7:00am to beat the traffic out of Durban and before long you’ll be enjoying the rolling countryside of KwaZulu Natal.
• On route to our first stop at St Lucia your guide will chat to you about the various sites along the way as well as the history of the region and Durban.
• One we arrive at St Lucia you’ll then have your first taste of the African wildlife with a 2 hour river cruise on the St Lucia estuary where you’ll get to spot Hippo, Crocodile, amazing bird life and possibly even some Buffalo or Elephant!
• After your cruise we head into the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve where you’ll get a spot of lunch and then enjoy an afternoon game drive in our vehicles.
• In the late afternoon you will check into your accommodation at Hilltop Camp and have the option of a evening game drive with the camp vehicles (optional extra) or just relax until dinner at the restaurant (or a traditional braai) followed by star gazing and then retire to bed.

Day 2

• It’s another early morning as we you head out with your guide for a full day safari in the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve.
• We’ll return for breakfast and then spend a little more time our exploring the reserve.
• We break for lunch and a well earned midday rest, and then you’ll get to enjoy a late afternoon game drive with your guide.
• Next up is dinner and retire to bed.

Day 3

• On your final day you’ll be woken by your guide and enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast and checkout.
• You will have the option of visiting the nearby Elephant Interaction or Cheetah Interaction or perhaps enjoy a walk through the nearby False Bay.
• Finally it’ll be time to return to Durban or Richards Bay, arriving at approximately 6:30pm.
