Description

iSimangaliso (place of wonder) was the first site in South Africa to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999. It’s the only place in the world where you can spot the Big 5 and whales in one day!

On this tour you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy a 2 hour cruise on the estuary where Hippo and Crocodile can be spotted as well as abundant bird life. You will also have an opportunity to enjoy a game drive through the Eastern Shores where Rhino, Waterbuck and other species of animals can be spotted.

St Lucia Day Tour Itinerary

• We’ll pick you up at 6:30am from your accommodation in the Durban or surrounding areas.
• iSimangaliso is 2 hours north of Durban. On the way your tour guide will point out sites of interest along the way and chat to you about the Zulu people.
• We do stop along the way for a comfort break and an opportunity to get some breakfast.
• Our first stop is a cruise on the St Lucia estuary to spot Hippo and Crocodile.
• After your cruise you’ll get to enjoy an early lunch.
